In Haines City, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Florida, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

I bypassed Lowe’s for this nursery and Was not disappointed. Vast selection, amazingly friendly staff and a great place to bring children. There were kittens and a huge bird cage the last time I went. I was given a miracle berry and came back to buy the tree. I also purchased 2 amazing desert roses over two years ago and they are still going strong. I also have a few baby ones now.

Very nice and the workers were very helpful. It was hot out and they drove me around in a golf cart and gave me water and showed me different trees that were hardy and would look nice in front of my home. Very nice place with alot to offer.
